Tutorial on how to edit social media settings

This blog post will teach you how to change privacy settings on those three social media platforms, which will allow you to better ensure your privacy.

  1. Tiktok

In the TikTok app, users are able to adjust certain settings. To do this users should open up settings and privacy, then select privacy when presented with these options. As seen in the image below:

Private Account: This setting provides users with the ability to only allow users who have been pre approved to view your videos. As seen in the image below:

Downloads: This options determines whether other users are able to download your videos or not.

Comments: The comments options provide users with the option to turn on comment filters, remove certain comments, and determine whether other users are able to comment on your posts.

Following List: Control which users are able to view your following list.

Liked Videos: Control which users are able to view the videos that you have liked.

Direct Messages: Allow users to control who is able to send direct messages

Blocked Accounts: This options provides users to view which accounts have been blocked, and the option to unblock those accounts.

Duet and Stitch: These options allow users to control whether their videos are available to other users to use in collaboration.
